Youth Stop Aids Watches Rent
Hello! Apologies for such a long wait, everything has been pretty hectic! World AIDS Day, on December 1st, is a day to dedicated to raising awareness of the AIDS pandemic caused by the spread of HIV and mourning those who have died from the disease. It is also a time to celebrate the progress made and to think about the progress to come. Therefore in recognition of all this, we created a movie night. Filled with fun and snacks and singing along! We teamed up with the Musical Theatre Society at Brighton University to create an event perfect for World AIDS Day. We incorporated some snacks, sent out flyers and formed a cute cubby for movie madness. We went with the film RENT, seemed appropriate given its theme of HIV/AIDS, but also was a great film to sing along too. We also wanted to raise awareness of Youth Stop AIDS and also the Missing Medicine Campaign. The MM Campaign works on raising awareness of drug affordability and making drugs affordable for all.
